## Summary

The Kent County Council awarded the contract for the Kent Integrated Domestic Abuse Service (KIDAS) variations to the suppliers Oasis, Clarion Housing Association Ltd, and Look Ahead Care Support and Housing. The procurement process, initiated as a tender, aims to provide support for survivors of domestic abuse within safe accommodation and in the community across geographical lots in East, South, North, and West Kent. The procurement method used was a limited award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition. Key dates include the commencement of the KIDAS contract on 1st April 2017 and contract variations made under Reg 72 (1) (c) due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.

This procurement process offers opportunities for businesses involved in health and social work services to provide support services for survivors of domestic abuse in Kent. Businesses with expertise in providing services such as additional outreach, trauma support, and specialised care would be well-suited to compete for the contract. The Kent County Council, acting as the buying organisation, has segmented the contract into geographical lots to enhance service provision and address the diverse needs of survivors across different districts. By engaging in this tender, businesses can contribute to vital support services for survivors and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
