## Summary

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority has awarded a contract for services for laboratory and research-related technical services. The contract, with a total value of £8,800,000.00 GBP, was signed on 12th June 2023. The procurement involved the National Nuclear Laboratory and was carried out through a limited award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition.

This procurement opportunity focuses on scientific studies, research and development, materials archive, technology demonstrations, and engineering studies. Businesses well-suited to compete include those with expertise in research services, feasibility studies, radioactive waste packaging, design services, advisory engineering services, and waste analysis services. The procurement is ideal for companies with capabilities in the nuclear industry looking to engage in high-security scientific and laboratory-related projects.
