This may include offering day and/or night sits to support a person for up to 72 hours. The Wrap Around Service will enable people with or without assessed needs under the Care Act to have access to a short-term provision (up to 72 hours) to support them to continue to live independently in the community or prevent a hospital admission whilst longer term needs are being assessed. Organisations with the capability to provide a service at short notice, and within an hour of contact, for extended periods where day or night sits may be required, are invited to tender.
