The contractor will be required to provide articulated trailers for loading of 'waste materials for recycling' in baled, bagged, palletised or loose format by the Authority. These materials will be loaded by the Authority at its facilities, located within 6 miles of Kirkwall on the Orkney Mainland. The contractor will subsequently transfer full trailers for disposal or recycling to facilities designated by the Authority, typically located in Scotland.

Renewal: Authority held option to extend the contract by an additional 12 months.
