## Summary

The UK Ministry of Defence has awarded a contract to Bae Systems (Operations) Limited for the in service support of the Hawk MK 167 operations valued at £3,508,000. The procurement stage was completed using a negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice. This contract involves aircraft operating services in the services industry category. The contract was signed on 28th July 2023 and the Ministry of Defence is the buying organisation based in High Wycombe, UK.

This public procurement opportunity for aircraft operating services offers business growth potential for companies with expertise in military aircraft maintenance and certification. Businesses in the aviation sector, particularly those with knowledge of Hawk MK 167 aircraft operations, would be well-suited to compete. The procurement method used was limited, and the award criteria focused on selecting the lowest price offer. The contract provides an opportunity for suppliers to support critical military aviation operations between the UK and Qatar.
