## Summary

The Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, as part of the Networked Fire Services Partnership (NFSP), recently completed the procurement process to implement an Integrated Communication Control System (ICCS) and Command and Control Mobilising System. The procurement culminated in the awarding of a £23,000,000 contract to SSS Public Safety Ltd on 19 August 2024. This comprehensive initiative encompasses command, control, communication, and computer systems, and includes a robust suite of hardware and software to manage 999 and non-emergency calls, incident creation, resource mobilisation, and administrative functions. The procurement method was open, aligning with the UK’s public procurement regulations, and the organisations involved are located across regions UKJ3, UKJ4, UKK15, UKK2, and UKK4.

This tender represents a substantial opportunity for businesses specialising in communication systems, emergency response technology, and integrated software solutions to engage with a high-impact project. It offers SMEs and large enterprises the chance to provide state-of-the-art technology solutions in a collaborative partnership setting. Given the critical nature of the systems being procured—operational 24/7/365—the successful supplier will play a pivotal role in emergency response services across multiple counties. Suitable businesses are those capable of delivering reliable, innovative, and resilient communication and control systems tailored to the needs of public safety services.
