## Notice

Portsmouth City Council, on behalf of the Solent LEP are looking to award contracts to suitably qualified and experienced training providers to develop and deliver The Solent Skills Bootcamps across seven priority subject areas that include Digital marketing, Care, Hospitality, Maritime Transport and Logistics, Creative Management, Green skills, and Software development. The priority subject areas are aligned to the Solent Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) prepared by the Hampshire Chamber of Commerce (CoC) as the designated employer representative body for the Solent region by the DfE in August 2022. This is an opportunity to deliver Skills Bootcamp training across the Solent as part of a series of skills interventions under the Skills for Life Programme. Skills Bootcamps are funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and will assist in the achievement of the Solent 2050 strategy to develop a world class talent base, helping people at all stages of their career build the skills they need.

Digital Marketing: which could include SEO, Digital advertising, Marketing/analytics, Website design and development, Market research and Competitor analysis.

Options: Dependent on funding the Skills Bootcamp may be extended to cover 24/25, the value will increase accordingly.

Digital - Software development

Software development: which could include HTML, CSS, Javascript, API's, Databases, React, and Cloud hosting.

Creative Management: which could include Motivational techniques, HR/legal requirements, building relationships and stakeholder Management, Communication, developing a strategy, Finance, Self-Management and Decision making.

Options: Dependent on funding the Skills Bootcamp may be extended to cover 24/25, the value will increase accordingly.

Green skills

Green skills: which could include Installation, Maintenance, Energy efficiency, Water regulations and Unvented hot water systems.

Options: Dependent on funding the Skills Bootcamp may be extended to cover 24/25, the value will increase accordingly.

Catering and hospitality

Catering and Hospitality: which could include Team motivation and customer service quality, financial operations, Operating procedures, Risk management, Productivity, Communication and Products and brand awareness.

Options: Dependent on funding the Skills Bootcamp may be extended to cover 24/25, the value will increase accordingly.
