## Summary

WM5G Limited is overseeing the “Tech Enabled Discharge; Remote Monitoring Tech” procurement, which falls under the health services industry category and is focused on providing remote monitoring devices to support health and care needs. Located in the West Midlands region (UKG), this contract aims to deliver services for interoperability with health systems and has now entered the contract update stage following an award phase. The contract spans a period ending 31 March 2027, with a notable increase in contract value to £321,450 GBP due to an extension prompted by unforeseen circumstances in the NHS contracting processes. The procurement has been conducted under a mini competition within a DPS Framework, featuring selective restricted procedures, and was awarded in 2025 with the signing date of 11 August 2025.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for small and medium enterprises specialising in health monitoring technology and system integration services. Suppliers with expertise in remote monitoring platforms, sensors, and health care-related virtual consultation tech could greatly benefit. SOLCOM LTD has already been awarded a lot, demonstrating potential for SMEs to engage in this and similar public procurement processes, especially those adept in adapting to technical specifications and equipment needs in health services. The procurement method also supports fostering competitive participation by smaller businesses within public law frameworks. With the continued development of remote monitoring technology, suppliers contributing innovative solutions can leverage this opportunity to expand their market presence in the health services sector.
