## Summary

The Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is planning a procurement process for e-bike charging solutions and innovation opportunities. The tender falls under the 'Bicycles' category and is focused on goods procurement. The market engagement exercise aims to understand e-bike charging points, their installation, operating costs, and potential innovations, with a future notice date set on 11th August 2023.

This tender by the NHS LPP offers opportunities for businesses involved in battery chargers, energy-efficiency consultancy services, lithium accumulators, and electrical equipment for engines and vehicles. Businesses with expertise in e-bike charging solutions, especially those providing innovative solutions like solar-powered charging, would be well-suited to compete. The market engagement seeks to gather insights for creating a DPS procurement framework for NHS Trusts and other NHS organizations interested in e-bike charging solutions.

## Notice

NHS LPP is undertaking a market engagement exercise to gain a greater understanding of e-bike charging points, their installation and usage, operating costs and partnership arrangements, and any areas of potential innovation.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

NHS London Procurement Partnership (NHS LPP) would like to carry out some market engagement around electric bike (e-bike) charging solutions and would welcome submissions from any interested parties.

NHS LPP hope to gain a greater understanding of the market for e-bike charging points, their installation and usage, operating costs and partnership arrangements, and any areas of potential innovation (e.g. solar powered charging).

As result of this market engagement, NHS LPP is hoping to understand what e-bike charging solutions for NHS hospital sites might look like as a commercial offering.

The information gained from the market engagement may contribute to the creation of a DPS procurement framework that could be used by NHS Trusts and other NHS organisations when procuring e-bike charging solutions for their premises and wrap around services.

As part of this market engagement NHS LPP would also be keen to hear about any likely future developments and innovations in the e-bike charging solutions market.
