The model(s) would include an allied health professional identifying the adults need or goals to help inform the most appropriate holistic intervention which can be supported via sport or physical activity. This could include but is not limited to swimming, sports games, cycling, dance, seated exercise or gym-based activities. The needs of an adult will differ but may include enhancing social skills and connections, strengthening motor or movement skills, building confidence and/or managing emotional wellbeing. The model requires co-designing interventions with the adults it aims to support, to ensure any activities are fully inclusive and accessible.
