## Summary

Essex County Council is undertaking a series of market engagement events related to the upcoming renewal of its Total Facilities Management (TFM) contract, which ends on 30th September 2026. The procurement process focuses on building and facilities management services, classified under CPV code 79993000. The current phase is in the planning stage, aiming to involve TFM providers who offer Hard FM, Soft FM, and Programme Management in a single package. Key market engagement sessions are scheduled throughout November, December, January, and February. Interested providers need to respond by 24th October 2024, via the ProContract platform. Additionally, ongoing events and updates can be accessed through the Essex Provider Hub.

This presents a significant opportunity for businesses specializing in integrated facilities management services to showcase their capabilities, particularly in areas such as new technologies, innovation, sustainability, decarbonisation, and social value. Suitable candidates are those who can provide comprehensive facilities management solutions, either through self-delivery or subcontracting models. By engaging in this process, firms can influence the future procurement specifications and build stronger relationships with Essex County Council, potentially leading to lucrative contracts worth up to an estimated £250,000,000. Businesses looking to grow through such public sector contracts will find participation in these engagements beneficial for networking and understanding market opportunities.
