### Procurement Information

No other reasonable alternative exists for this procurement. Partners in Healthcare Technology Ltd are Contracted to provide Managed Equipment Services at the Northern Ireland Cancer Centre. It is essential that the refresh of this equipment is via Partners in Healthcare Technology Ltd to ensure compatibility of systems across the Northern Ireland Cancer Centre. Maintenance (24/7), support, proprietary information, training, licences, software and updates for this equipment are embedded within the Managed Equipment Services Contract. This equipment is critical to patient care, is highly complex and an integral part of a large facility. The absence of competition is not a result of the artificial narrowing of the parameters of the procurement. To award to an alternative provider would result in disproportionate technical difficulties that would create significant disruption and introduce significant risk to the Trusts ability to deliver undisrupted services to cancer patients.
