## Summary

The Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust has planned a procurement process for the provision of Aseptic Managed Service under CPV classification 85149000 for pharmacy services. This initiative aims to establish a partnership for controlled environments in the preparation of high-risk injectable medicines and Advanced Therapy medicines, including gene, cell, and viral therapies. The Trust is seeking suppliers to design and deliver a new aseptic service model, investing in state-of-the-art equipment and IT systems to meet patient needs, with opportunities for commercial aseptic sales to maximise benefits for the NHS.

This tender by Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust at the planning stage involves the completion of a Questionnaire downloaded from the Tender Box with a response deadline of 12th October 2023. Businesses in the pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, and healthcare sectors would be suited to compete in this opportunity. The aseptic service requirement spans a 10 to 15-year partnership, focusing on quality, safety, innovation, and patient care, creating growth possibilities for suppliers in the aseptic services domain.

## Notice

The Trust has a requirement for controlled environments for the preparation of high-risk injectable medicines into ready-to-administer (RtA) formats for patients. Aseptic facilities are also required for the manufacture of Advanced Therapy medicines including gene, cell and viral therapies, and a growing number of Investigational Medicinal Products used in clinical trials.
