AWARDED - An agreement to Jeol UK Limited, the original manufacturer and exclusive provider of ongoing warranty and support services for an existing instrument critical to the operation of the university's class 5 clean room nanotechnology fabrication research unit, for an initial period of five years at a cost of PS554k. The university reserves the right to extend this agreement to cover the functional lifetime of the equipment (estimated at a maximum of 30 years) therefore the total estimated value of award is up to PS4m.
