SHOT has their own websites, while SRI operates a sub-site within the JPAC website. The SRI website focuses on increasing the evidence base for transfusion medicine through systematic reviews and curates two evidence libraries. SHOT serves as the UK's independent inquiry into the serious hazards of transfusion, providing authoritative data and supporting policy development and guideline production. Both websites suffer from outdated design and poor user and owner experiences. The SRI site is hosted by an external provider with limited functionality and management capabilities. The contract with the provider is set to expire in June 2024. SHOT's website is maintained by another provider but faces similar limitations.
