## Summary

The NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has awarded the contract for the Glasgow City Adult Stress Service to Lifelink. The procurement process was initiated through a tender exercise, with the contract being awarded on 1st April 2024. The project falls under the services category with a focus on providing services to the community. The contract is currently active, with a total value of £560,000. The procurement method used was an open procedure, and the tender was conducted via PCS-Tender. The tender involved multiple bids, with Lifelink being the successful supplier.

The award of the Glasgow City Adult Stress Service contract underlines opportunities for organisations in the health and social care sector. Businesses that specialise in mental health services, community-based interventions, and counselling are well-suited to compete for similar tenders. The contract duration is initially for 1 year with the possibility of extensions for up to 4 additional years. This offers long-term prospects for suppliers looking to establish partnerships with NHS organisations and expand their community outreach initiatives. The emphasis on delivering services to Glasgow residents in areas of high deprivation opens avenues for organisations committed to addressing health inequalities.

## Notice

Glasgow HSCP is seeking a high quality forward thinking organisation to deliver community based stress services that will complement the work of the HSCP workforce and partners. This programme of work will provide an important contribution to the adult mental health improvement framework. The service will be open to all Glasgow residents aged 16 and over, with a specific focus on delivery in areas of highest deprivation and to those population groups experiencing significant and enduring health, economic & social inequalities. Flexible, culturally appropriate approaches to service design and delivery must be clearly demonstrated within Tender response alongside a sophisticated understanding of the patterns of inequalities in Glasgow, and of the barriers in working in communities experiencing these.
