## Summary

The Surrey County Council is seeking to commission a support organisation to provide guidance and training for residents establishing Care Worker Micro Enterprises in Surrey. The procurement aims to address the chronic shortage of personal assistants in Surrey by developing local capacity, increasing the council's capability to support micro-enterprises, and providing coaching-style guidance. The procurement is classified as "Education and training services" under the main procurement category of services. The deadline for tender submissions is on November 13, 2023.

This tender opportunity could be beneficial for organisations in the education and training services industry with expertise in supporting individuals to establish small enterprises. Businesses that can offer coaching-style guidance, written operating models, and insight into local care demand in Surrey would be well-suited to compete. Surrey County Council, as the buying organisation, is looking to engage with suppliers who can enhance the micro-enterprise market in Surrey and provide valuable services to the community.
