## Summary

NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU), working on behalf of NHS Lancashire & South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) and associated councils, has completed the tender for the provision of Children & Young People Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing Digital Support services in Lancashire & South Cumbria. The procurement, which falls under the Light Touch Regime services as per Public Contracts Regulations 2015, was conducted as an open procedure. The contract, valued at £1,082,222 for a one-year term starting from 1 April 2024, with an optional extension until 31 March 2026, has been awarded to Kooth Digital Health Limited. This tender process aimed to enhance mental health support services for children and young people in the region through digital means.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in digital health services, particularly those focused on mental health and well-being. Companies with expertise in digitally delivered psychological therapy and integrated healthcare services stand to benefit from this contract. The tender sought to increase local outreach, reduce demand on traditional mental health services, and provide easy access to emotional support for young people.
