### Procurement Information

There is a lot of uncertainty around longer-term technology for communications, with numerous applications coming to end of life. With all this uncertainty NGN would like to an extend with Arqiva to give time for this new technology to further develop and be tested in NGN, before making a long term decision on our communications strategy for GD3. Once a longer term strategy has been decided suppliers will be given a fair opportunity to bid for the work.
