## Summary

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) is planning a tender process for the "Support Program for the Consolidation of Stability in the DRC" under the services category. The FCDO is organising an Early Market Engagement Event to engage potential suppliers for the PACS stabilisation component, with the aim of testing intervention objectives and modalities with local and international partners. The event is scheduled for Tuesday 14th November 23, both online and with limited in-person attendance, allowing participants to indicate their preferred method of attendance.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses specialised in foreign economic-aid-related services and development consultancy to engage with the FCDO on a significant programme in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Businesses interested in contributing to conflict resilience, local governance improvement, and sustainable development in the DRC should consider participating in this early engagement activity. The FCDO is seeking to establish resilient community structures and provide socio-economic reintegration opportunities, particularly for at-risk populations, as part of its stabilisation programme.

## Notice

The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) intends to host an Early Market Engagement Event (EME) to test; (1) For FCDO to better understand future possible suppliers for the PACS stabilisation component (2) For potential supplier to better understand the PACS programme and specifically the stabilisation component (3) For FCDO to test the objectives and modality of the intervention of the stabilisation component with local and international partners. If security considerations allow we are hoping to run this engagement as a hybrid event with online participants and some limited in person attendance (only 10-15 places available in person). Early Market Engagement (Online) DRC Stabilisation Programme Tuesday 14th November 23 @ 10:00 -12:00 DRC Time / 08:00 - 10:00 GMT As part of the EME registration questions below please therefore indicate your preferred event method of attendance for this event. Please note that due to limited venue space we cannot guarantee that anyone selecting the "Attending in person" preferences will definitely be allocated a space so please do not book any travel or accommodation requirements until the programme team have confirmed that your request has been successful. Question 1-13 are standard questions which FCDO asks at all early market engagement events, for statistical/ monitoring purposes. If any situation arises whereby we cannot go ahead with our planned in person element of the event then everyone will be provided with the instructions to join this event online. Please note that a separate form must be completed for each intended EME participant. EME registration form link: https://forms.office.com/e/Lj8jC25KBF
