## Summary

The Torfaen County Borough Council has initiated a tender process under a selective procurement method for the creation of a Dynamic Purchasing System for the Provision of Domiciliary Care. The procurement is classified under the services industry category, with the main procurement category being services related to home-help services. The tender has an active status, with a tender period ending on 18th December 2023. The contract covers the provision of domiciliary care services in the UKL16 region for a period of at least four years. The Council has set submission terms and criteria for selection that focus on the quality of care provided and the pricing submitted by provider organisations.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses operating in the health and social work services sector to compete for contracts to offer Domiciliary Care Services within the Torfaen County Borough Council jurisdiction. Businesses well-suited to compete would need to demonstrate their ability to deliver high-quality care services at competitive prices. The Council has outlined a clear procedure and criteria for selecting providers, emphasizing transparency and equal treatment of economic operators in the procurement process. Interested suppliers can participate in the tender with their own resources and at their own risk, as the Council will not incur any liability regarding the procurement exercise.
