## Summary

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), a national agency based in Swansea, has completed the procurement stage for the provision of enforcement services across the UK, including Northern Ireland. The contract, titled "Provision of Enforcement Services", fell under the industry category of "services", specifically parking enforcement services. The procurement method was open, adhering to an open procedure. Initially, the tender was in the stage of planning and award, with important deadlines noted. The awarded contract, active since 2nd February 2026, is valued at £133,230,185 and focuses on enforcing compliance for untaxed vehicles and those breaching Statutory Off-Road Notification (SORN) regulations. The awarded service provider is Egis Projects UK Ltd, a large-scale supplier based in London.

This procurement offers significant opportunities for businesses involved in vehicle enforcement, storage, and towing services. Companies equipped with technologies such as Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) would be particularly well-suited to compete for such contracts. The nature of the services required, including vehicle immobilisation and removal, presents opportunities for innovation and scalability. Suppliers able to provide robust and quick enforcement solutions will find this sector beneficial for business growth, particularly those capable of managing high volumes of transactions and adapting to fluctuating needs. The DVLA's requirements for electronic ordering and invoicing, coupled with the comprehensive national coverage needed, invite businesses prepared to handle such expansive and technologically reliant service provisions.
