This approach is proposed as it will ensure a single provider has sufficient work and throughput to dedicate resources to the contract and deliver a value for money service. By retaining the single provider approach the Council will reduce contract management administration and have a greater ability to enforce KPI's to manage performance and to share work plans and future requirements enabling the provider to allocate resource efficiently.
