Lot 1

The Council is seeking tenders on the terms identified in this document and appendices for a Partner to lead in the delivery of Building Control Services for the Lancaster District. Ensure the delivery of a professional building control function which manages the overall capacity of the service, together with managing and checking building control applications with the Building Regulations and allied legislation, whilst working to budget and delivering income growth.

Renewal: This contract is being tendered for an initial period of three years. Following the three years contract the authority wishes to contract on an annual basis following satisfactory contract review which will be carried out by the Contract Manager. Until such time that it becomes necessary for the authority to change its service provision, or an unsatisfactory assessment (should this become necessary), a notice period of six month shall apply.
