## Summary

The Blackpool Council is planning a procurement exercise to engage with organisations capable of delivering local community equipment services. The procurement process is expected to start in early spring 2024, with contracts to be in place by Autumn 2024. The opportunity involves dialogue and scoping discussions to understand market capability and assess interest, with the main procurement category being services related to transport services.

This tender from Blackpool Council presents an opportunity for businesses experienced in providing community equipment services and transport services. Companies with expertise in end-to-end warehouse services, stock storage, delivery services, and recycling best practices are well-suited to compete. The tender aims to establish a contract for the delivery, collection, cataloguing, and recycling of community equipment across the local Blackpool/Fylde coast area, offering potential growth opportunities for businesses in the health and social work services industry.
