This is an extension of an agreement, originally awarded against an EU-tendered framework agreement, with the current service provider. During the lifetime of this extension, a strategic decision either to tender for a replacement best of breed human resource and payroll system, or a wider ERP system, will be made, and an appropriate BPR process and associated tender process carried out to put this decision into effect. In the meantime a change of service provider would result in disproportionate technical difficulties in the operation and support of a critical corporate system.
