## Summary

The NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board has awarded a contract for the YPAS Service, a mental health service in Liverpool. The procurement was conducted through a limited procurement method and the contract covers health services with a focus on services for children and adolescents. The contract started on 1st April 2024 and will run until 31st March 2026 with a potential extension until 31st March 2027. The award was given to Young Person's Advisory Service Liverpool.

This tender provides an opportunity for businesses, especially those in the health services industry, to engage in providing mental health support services to children and young people in the Liverpool area. Companies specialising in mental health, counselling, youth services, and community-based interventions would be well-suited to compete for future procurement opportunities in this field. The collaborative model of service delivery creates space for innovative approaches to mental health care and offers potential for sustainable partnerships with the NHS Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board.
