The contract award is made to Herts Urgent Care for the provision of Early Intervention Vehicle Service. The proposed new contract is intended to start on 1st October 2024 ending on 30th September 2025 with the option to extend for a further year. The expected value of this contract is PS669,934. The value expressed in this notice is the expected value of the 2-year period. Please note that these are expected values and may be amended post contract finalisation with the provider. Herts Urgent Care has been providing this service since 1st October 2021 and is due to expire on 30th September 2024. The Early Intervention Vehicle - HUC EiV (Early Intervention vehicle) Service provides urgent community response to people who are in crisis and at risk of hospital admission. This service is available to anyone over 18, registered with a GP practice in ENH area. Service operational Monday to Sunday and Bank Holidays 8am - 8pm. Options: Option to extend for a further year to 30th September 2026. ### Procurement Information The NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (HWE ICB) was incorporated on 1st July 2022 and includes the three previous clinical commissioning groups. Since the HWE ICB was incorporated, we have been working to review services across each 'place' to ensure that there is equity of access for our patients across the broader ICB area.
