## Summary

The procurement process for the Emergency Pipeline Services contract has been completed. The buying organisation, Wales And West Utilities, issued the tender for emergency pipeline services as a limited procurement method with no prior publication of a call for competition. The contract involves the repair and maintenance services of specialist pipelines on an emergency basis. The procurement is at the award stage, with an active contract signed on 1st January 2024.

This contract presents business growth opportunities for companies with expertise in emergency pipeline services that can respond immediately to threats to gas network integrity.
