## Summary

Translink, a public transportation company based in Belfast, United Kingdom, is planning to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Bus and Coach Parts under Regulation 52 of the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016. The DPS, valued at £4,000,000 GBP, will allow for preapproved Economic Operators to provide goods in smaller, more efficient batches. The DPS is expected to open for expressions of interest in Q1 2024, with the first mini competitions scheduled for Q2 2024.

This tender by Translink presents an opportunity for businesses specialising in supplying spare parts for goods vehicles, vans, and cars to participate in the market engagement exercise and potentially secure contracts through the upcoming mini competitions. Companies with expertise in producing and delivering bus and coach parts are well-suited to compete. Interested parties can contact Neil Bowers at neil.bowers@translink.co.uk for additional information about the procurement process and opportunities available.

Lot 1

This notice is to initiate an early market engagement exercise. It does not indicate the start of any formal procurement exercise. Translink wishes to engage with the market to seek out expertise and conduct market/product research to ensure that the best possible offer is presented to the marketplace. Translink intends to create a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Bus and Coach Parts. The DPS is being created under Regulation 52 (Dynamic Purchasing System) of the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016. A DPS gives Translink the flexible ability to offer smaller and more nimble baskets of goods to preapproved Economic Operators and to cut down on the time to approve the award of these goods. Separate specific procurement exercises (mini competitions) will be published at the appropriate point in the future. Parties with whom discussions have been held will be required to submit their applications to be involved in the respective procurement(s) in the normal manner. The DPS will run for an initial period of five (5) years with the option to extend for any period up to thirty-six (36) months.
