### Procurement Information

RACE / RAICo have purchased SPOT robots previously after evaluating the market and establishing that they were the best in class quadruped robots. These have been equipped with custom payloads that are being used extensively by RACE. They have also developed the digital interface and standards to allow its application in Nuclear Decommissioning. The RAICo programme requires additional 4 devices to facilitate further development and demonstration of their capability across a number of NDA sites that have been requested by the NDA. These will utilise custom SPOT developments created by RAICo and RACE. The rationale for acquiring the same robot is to ensure the technology and expertise we have developed for the robots to be interchangeable allowing for more synergy in our capability. Createc are the sole authorised supplier of Spot Quadruped Robots in the United Kingdom.
