## Summary

Durham County Council has re-opened the Provider Panel for Intensive Support and Crisis Intervention Services for children, young people, and their families, forming a flexible agreement to facilitate the provision of these essential services. Covering multiple categories of need including social communication issues, severe mental health concerns, risk of offending, and exploitation, this procurement spans the health and social work services industry. The procurement stage is active, with the contract period slated from 1 April 2024 to 31 August 2025. The tender process follows an open procedure under Public Contracts Regulation 2015, with no guarantees on volume or exclusivity. The total contract value stands at £12,000,000 and involves delivery in the UKC14 region.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in health and social work services to be included on a council-managed provider panel. Suitable candidates include organisations with expertise in handling various category-specific needs of vulnerable children and families, as outlined in the lots. This procurement can catalyse business growth by permitting participation in multiple lots and enabling future tendering opportunities. Companies with capabilities in intensive support, crisis intervention, and an adaptive service model aligned with council requirements are strongly positioned to benefit.
