## Summary

The Norfolk County Council is seeking Technical Advisors for the Future Ready Buildings Programme. The procurement involves four technical advisors, 2 for MEP services and 2 for architectural services, responsible for overseeing the main contractor designs for low carbon buildings. The procurement is at the tender stage with a deadline for submissions on March 12, 2024. The procurement method is open, and the award period starts immediately after the submission deadline.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses specializing in architectural, construction, engineering, and inspection services to participate in the development of environmentally friendly buildings. Businesses that can provide technical expertise in MEP and architectural services are well-suited to compete for the contracts. Interested businesses should ensure compliance with the submission terms and criteria outlined in the procurement documents to enhance their chances of securing a contract with the Norfolk County Council.

## Notice

Norfolk County Council requires four technical advisors (2 MEP and another 2 Architectural) to provide oversight, client side, of main contractor designs as part of the Councils Future Ready Buildings programme that will provide a low carbon, fit for use estate. A main contractor has been appointed at the beginning of RIBA Stage 2, on a two-stage design and build basis to progress the designs up to the end of Stage 4 and subsequently to carry out the works. There will be no client-side multi-disciplinary design team who ordinarily under a design and build contract would have completed RIBA stages 1-3 performance specifications.
