## Summary

NHS Shared Business Services Limited (NHS SBS) has successfully completed the procurement process for the "Modular Buildings 3" framework, designated under the CPV code 44211100 for modular and portable buildings. This procurement was conducted using an open procedure aimed at establishing a comprehensive framework agreement to supply modular buildings and related goods and services across healthcare, education, residential, and wider public sectors across the UK. The framework agreement took effect on 12th June 2025 and is set to continue until 11th June 2029. This process involved multiple lots, each specifying a particular type of application, such as new builds or hire and lease within designated value ranges. During the planning and tender stages, deadlines and interim updates, including adjustments to submission dates, were communicated as part of the open tendering approach.

This framework offers extensive opportunities for businesses in the modular construction sector. Companies ranging from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to large enterprises can benefit from participating in various lots valuing partnerships across different financial thresholds, such as under £5m to over £25m. Successful suppliers can expect to collaborate with NHS and social care organisations as well as broader public and private sector bodies nationwide. The emphasis on sustainability and social value within the tender heavily incentivises businesses committed to these principles, creating substantial opportunities for growth and diversification within their construction and modular offerings. Suppliers with capabilities in turnkey solutions, including architectural design, planning, and project execution, are particularly well-positioned to leverage this framework.
