This procurement falls under the "Health and social work services" category and involves creating opportunities for sustainable employment for adults with mental health issues. The contract, valued at £560,515 GBP, was signed on March 14, 2024. The procurement method used was an award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition. Immediate service provision is expected upon contract award in April 2024.

This tender by the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership presents business opportunities for service providers experienced in mental health support, employment training, and benefits advice. Businesses with established networks across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, and Pembrokeshire, as well as knowledge of the local labour market, are well-suited to compete. The successful delivery partner must adhere to the eight key principles of Individual Placement Support and hold a Fidelity Kitemark, demonstrating their expertise in supporting individuals with mental health conditions.
