## Summary

The recent award phase for the West Northamptonshire Council's Security Services Framework has seen lots 1, 2, and 3 successfully awarded, with lot 4 set for re-procurement. This framework, valued at £32,248,000, is under the classification of security services and targets the regional vicinity of West Northamptonshire, specifically in the East Midlands of the United Kingdom. West Northamptonshire Council, responsible for numerous civic functions, initiated this process with a tender return deadline slated for midday on 26th April 2024. The procurement method employed is an open procedure, with a framework agreement lasting 48 months beginning on 18 November 2024. This initiative aims to involve multiple suppliers across different lots, ensuring robust security coverage for varied requirements.

This contract framework offers significant business opportunities for security service providers, especially those with capabilities in core guarding, ad hoc guarding services, and security electronics installation. Companies that foresee making substantial contributions to community safety and match the council's THRIVE Ambitions would excel in this framework. Large-scale suppliers like SSG Support Services Group Limited and Prime Secure Systems Limited have already been engaged, signalling the framework's capability to attract well-established firms. With no restrictions on the number of lots a supplier can bid for, new and innovative firms can capture various roles, from direct awards to call-off arrangements, facilitating expansive business growth within the public sector security market.
