### Procurement Information

SMBC undertook a negotiated procedure without prior publication to award the contract to Supernova Events & Esports Limited, Trading as Player1 Events. This procurement has been conducted pursuant to Regulation 32 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 - Negotiated procedure without prior publication (2b): - where the works, supplies or services can be supplied only by a particular economic operator for any of the following reasons:- (iii) the protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights This is a named event that is to be funded through the West Midlands Combined Authority. Player 1 has exclusive rights in the UK for the name, logo, mark and all other such intellectual property rights associated with the 'Superdome' brand to be used for the Event.
