## Summary

The Infrastructure Maintenance Contract 3 (IMC3) for Rail for London, a subsidiary of Transport for London (TfL), involves maintenance services for the Windrush Line Core Route, ensuring ongoing functionality for rail and passenger services. The procurement falls under the railway-track maintenance services category and is managed under a negotiated procedure with prior call for competition. The initial contract duration is five years, with potential extensions up to three additional years. Although the contract status is complete, details about the award date include 10th April 2026, and the contract is active as of 2026. RSK Environment Limited was awarded the contract, highlighting the selective procurement method. The buying organisation operates from London, UK, and addresses public transport goals for the city under the Greater London Authority.

This procurement contract, estimated at £150 million, presents substantial opportunities for businesses involved in infrastructure maintenance, particularly those offering services like railway maintenance, telecommunications, signalling, and civil engineering works. It is a significant opportunity for large-scale contractors to expand their portfolios within the Greater London area. The contract can benefit businesses that specialise in planned and reactive maintenance, renewals, and like-for-like replacements across diverse technical areas such as electrification, mechanical systems, and environmental services. Firms with expertise in comprehensive infrastructure services and the capability to handle extensive projects across various locations will find themselves well-suited to meet the contractual demands and competition during the selective negotiated procedure.
