To provide support and maintenance for a hostedcommand and control system together with relatedhelpdesk support for use by the Constabulary. This means staff in the control room can make rapid deployment decisions and where necessary pass appropriate information to officers attending the incident. ### Procurement Information

Lancashire Constabulary relies on the grounds set out in Regulation 32(2)(b)(ii) Use of the negotiated procedure without prior publication of the Public Contract Regulations 2015. For technical reasons, the services can be provided only by a particular tenderer namely Sopra Steria that supplied the system after a lengthy and complex procurement process in 2007. The contract will cover all elements of support and maintenance of the existing system. The services can only be provided by the present supplier alongside the operational and budgetary constraints and risks associated with a change of supplier
