## Summary

The procurement process for "Enteral Feeding, Bile Bags and Associated Products" was conducted by Supply Chain Coordination Limited, operating as NHS Supply Chain. This purchasing activity falls under the "goods" industry category, specifically focusing on medical consumables, with various delivery locations across the UK. The process has reached the "award" stage as of May 2025, following its initiation in April 2024. The framework agreement is valued at approximately £89 million for the full term, with a potential extension of up to 48 months, indicating substantial involvement from successful suppliers. This open procedure procurement, highlighted by multiple lots involving enteral feeding products, commenced with initial expressions of interest submitted through an eTendering portal in April 2024.

This tender presents robust growth opportunities for businesses involved in the supply of medical consumables, particularly those specialising in enteral feeding products. Companies capable of delivering high-quality goods related to enteral nutrition, feeding devices, and associated accessories could significantly benefit. The tender is well-suited for SMEs and large suppliers alike, as evidenced by the current awards to a range of companies, including both small and large enterprises. With criteria such as sales, service quality, social value, and competitive pricing, businesses that excel in these areas are encouraged to engage. Furthermore, the option for electronic ordering and invoicing, alongside a comprehensive framework agreement with NHS Supply Chain, could lead to enduring partnerships and increased market presence in the healthcare sector.
