## Summary

Norfolk County Council is seeking a Principal Provider to deliver home support services across West and North Norfolk, segmented into seven lots. This tender is focused on the health and social work services industry and aims to appoint providers for various Primary Care Network (PCN) areas. Key locations include Coastal, Kings Lynn, Fens and Brecks in the West, and three North Norfolk areas (NN1, NN2, and NN3). The tendering process employed an open procedure, and the procurement is in the award stage with several successful bids. Notable deadlines include a start date of 2 December 2024 for the North areas and 27 January 2025 for the West areas. The overall project is anticipated to run for a period of approximately 10 years, with contract values expected around £100 million in total.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the health and social care sector. By participating, businesses can establish long-term partnerships with the Norfolk County Council, thereby aiding in their growth and stability. The procurement process is particularly suitable for large and medium-sized enterprises capable of scaling to meet the demand for 70% of service provision, with additional opportunities for smaller businesses within the PCN framework to cover the remaining 30%. The clear segmentation of lots and the limitation of awards to no more than two lots per provider ensures a competitive yet equitable opportunity for various market players.
