## Summary

LHC Procurement Group, acting on behalf of the Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA), has awarded a contract for the Roofing Systems Framework (RS5M). This framework covers the supply and delivery of roofing systems and associated products across various public sector refurbishment and new build projects in the UK, including multi-occupancy residential buildings, schools, colleges, universities, and blue light buildings. The framework, which commenced on 8th January 2025 and will run for 54 months, aims to provide a cost-effective procurement solution for local authorities, social landlords, and other public sector bodies. The procurement stage is complete, and the framework involves categories such as traditional flat roofing, liquid flat roofing, and profiled metal roofing, with contracts signed on 7th January 2025.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in roofing materials and systems to expand their market reach. The framework is designed to support a wide range of public sector requirements and includes provisions to benefit SMEs and local businesses through sub-contracting opportunities and supply-chain development activities. It is especially suitable for established roofing manufacturers capable of providing comprehensive support, from initial condition surveys to detailed design, technical support, and post-works inspections. Businesses with expertise in traditional flat roofing, liquid flat roofing, and profiled metal roofing will find this tender highly aligned with their capabilities.
