## Summary

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has completed a National Framework Agreement for the Provision of Carbon and Energy Infrastructure Upgrade Services in the United Kingdom. The framework aimed to provide low carbon energy efficient infrastructure services, improvements, and upgrades to existing or new public sector facilities. The procurement method used was a limited award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition. Key dates include the establishment of the framework in 2022 and the intention to issue a new call for competition in 2025 for similar services.

Companies specializing in energy efficiency, infrastructure improvements, and carbon and energy resilience services are well-suited to engage in this procurement process. The awarded suppliers include a mix of SMEs and larger organisations, indicating a varied landscape of opportunities for businesses of different scales to participate and contribute to the public sector's sustainability goals.
