## Summary

The most recent procurement contract completed in May 2026 involved the purchase of commercial vehicles under the framework TPPL/NEPO224 for Norse Commercial Services Limited, a Local Authority Trading Company based in Norwich, UK. This contract, managed through a limited procurement method proceeded without prior publication and was awarded to Lookers Group Fleet. The award was for the acquisition of two L3 Ford chassis with bespoke bodywork, intended to be delivered to Essex. The procurement process, categorised under Specialist vehicles in the CPV scheme 34114000, concluded with the contract being signed in January 2026 for a value of GBP 102,786.18.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in commercial vehicle manufacturing and customisation. Companies that can provide bespoke solutions involving chassis modifications and specialist vehicle conversions are well-suited to compete, particularly if they are capable of responding swiftly to direct award scenarios like this one. The partnership with frameworks such as TPPL/NEPO224 offers an ongoing channel for future similar procurement opportunities across the UK, facilitating market entry for companies experienced in delivering high-demand vehicles in these categories. Engaging in these frameworks can help manufacturers establish long-term relationships with local authority trading companies and councils across the region.
