## Summary

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has awarded a significant contract to Bozeat Industrial Ltd, trading as B.I. Engineering, for the repair of Coolant Line Replacement Units (LRUs) and associated items. Acting through Babcock Land Defence Limited, the procurement process employed a limited negotiated method without a prior contract notice, justified by technical requirements. This service-focused contract, classified under CPV code 50630000 for repair and maintenance of military vehicles, has a period of four years with an option for three additional years. The total estimated value should not exceed £3,770,000. The procurement relates to the UK's Defence industry, specifically for operations in the region of UKG21. The contract was signed on 29th April 2025 and is currently active, highlighting the completion of its award stage.

This tender presents robust growth opportunities for businesses engaged in the defence services industry, particularly those specialising in repair and maintenance of military vehicles. While the contract was awarded on a single-source basis to B.I. Engineering due to their unique expertise and rights over technical data, it opens avenues for interested parties to seek subcontracting opportunities by directly approaching the contracted supplier. Companies with capabilities to support complex technical repairs, possessing niche expertise or willingness to collaborate as subcontractors, would find potential procurement pathways to expand their business within the defence sector.

Any deviation away from the original design may result in an increased the risk of power pack failure, affecting the overall performance and operation of the vehicle platforms.
