Main Boilers and Associated Equipment

The University of Edinburgh appointed a single contractor to provide planned and reactive maintenance to main boilers and associated equipment, in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and SFG20 Maintenance Task Schedules. The planned maintenance consists of six-monthly visits to inspect, service and maintain the assets. The reactive maintenance consists of repairing equipment and replacing broken components as and when required. This will ensure that the equipment is maintained to the highest standard, reducing unscheduled downtime, improving reliability and reducing energy consumption, running costs and delivering optimum performance from the equipment.

Options: The contract dates for this contract are 1 December 2024 to 30 November 2026. As detailed in the ITT, the University has the option to extend this contract for up to two additional years, potentially taking the contract through to 30 November 2028.
