## Summary

The procurement process pertains to the Construction Project Management and Conservation Professional Services Framework (CPMCPS) initiated by NEUPC Ltd, a body governed by public law located in Leeds, UK. This framework encompasses building services consultancy within the UK education sector, targeting the North-East England region. As a procurement method, the process employs a restricted procedure, indicating selective participation based on specified criteria. Key stages included tender and award, with the tenders being finalised on 4 June 2024 and subsequent awards dated 16 April 2025. The framework allows for services including Project Management, Quantity Surveying, and Conservation Architecture to support member institutions such as Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland, and Teesside universities.

This tender offers vast business growth opportunities, primarily for consultancy firms specialising in construction-related services. Firms well-versed in fire safety, mechanical and electrical engineering, heritage architecture, and building surveying are poised to benefit from the framework, providing services crucial to maintaining and developing university estates and historical sites across the UK. SMEs, along with large-scale suppliers, are encouraged due to the diverse service requirements and potential EU funding involvement. Participating in this framework could expand portfolios and foster long-term collaborations with educational institutions. Successful applicants may enjoy repeated call-offs and EU funding facilitation, enhancing financial stability and professional engagement within the industry.
