Lot 1

The requirement is for the procurement and modification of quantity 196 Lynx Xterrain (Brutal) 850 e-Tech Over Snow Machines, procurement of quantity 100 Ski Sleds; quantity 32 Road Trailers; Spares Packs to support the fleet and Specialist Tooling. The Supplier will provide Through Life Support for a period of 5 years to include but not be limited too Training; Support Publications; Routine Reports and Meetings. The Contract is a Single Source Qualifying Defence Contract and, as such, the Authority will benefit from open book accounting.

Options: Additional procurement quantities are available.

### Procurement Information

The BRP Lynx is currently operated by several of the UK's key international partners within the Joint Expeditionary Force. The UK's procurement of a common platform would enable interoperability in a challenging and increasingly relevant geographical location. This could include the sharing of information, research and development efforts and, in extremis, the ability to operate each other's vehicles with minimal risk. Procurement of a common platform with the UK's JEF partners would support the UK's Defence contribution in the High North. Salterns Marina Ltd, Trading as Golden Arrow Marine (GAM) are the only supplier authorised by the Original Equipment Manufacturer, BRP, to contract with the MOD and as such they have been assessed as the only supplier able to complete the full requirement.
