## Summary

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) is engaging in a public procurement process to establish Term Service Contracts for the year 2025, aimed at building construction and maintenance work, classified under CPV code 45210000. The procurement is led by DoH - Health Estates based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The procurement process is currently active and follows a restricted procedure. It involves multiple lots covering the Northern and Southern Areas as well as a Northern Ireland-wide scope for minor works. The contracts will be for two years, with the possibility of two extensions of one year each (2+1+1), contingent on performance. Key dates include the tender period ending on 10th June 2024, with associated deadlines and details outlined in the procurement documents.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for businesses specialising in building maintenance, mechanical and electrical works, civil engineering, and other related services. It is particularly promising for firms capable of providing 24/7 rapid response services and handling emergency works efficiently. Economic operators with significant multi-disciplinary resources, available throughout the year, stand a good chance of securing these contracts. Given the selective procurement method, participating businesses should prepare detailed proposals showcasing their competitiveness in terms of quality and price, as per the award criteria specified in the tender documentation. This contract can help businesses expand their footprint within the public sector of Northern Ireland and ensure steady work for up to four years.

## Notice
