## Summary

The buying organisation, YPO, has completed the procurement process for the "YPO 001241 - Workwear and PPE" project under the category of occupational clothing, special workwear and accessories (CPV: 18100000). This procurement covers various lots, including General Workwear, Hi Vis, Tabards and Aprons, Disposable Workwear, Gloves, Footwear, PPE, and Contractual items, with the delivery location being the UK. The procurement method was an open procedure and the framework agreement is expected to last from 30th July 2024 to 29th July 2026, with options to extend for an additional 24 months, making the maximum contract period up to 29th July 2028. Key deadlines included the initial tender end date of 17th June 2024, which was subsequently extended to 18th June 2024, with a standstill period of minimum 10 days for reviewing the award decisions.

This tender represents a substantial opportunity for businesses in the workwear and PPE industry to collaborate with YPO and cater to the needs of the education market and other public sector organisations. Companies specialising in production, distribution, and supply of occupational clothing and PPE can leverage this framework agreement to secure long-term business growth. The contract is suitable for both large and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that can meet the quality, delivery, customer service, and sustainability requirements. By engaging in this framework, suppliers can gain consistent orders and build a reputable client base in the public sector, enhancing their market presence.

## Notice

YPO are looking for Providers to be appointed onto a Framework Agreement for the supply of Workwear and PPE for use primarily in the education market. This Framework is designed to meet the needs of all public sector organisations which includes YPO's internal requirements by establishing an agreement for Providers to deliver stock both into YPO's distribution centre in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and deliver to YPO customers on a direct basis whereby the end customer places the order with YPO and YPO places the order with the Provider, but the Provider delivers direct to the end customer. YPO also wish to establish an agreement where the end customer will place orders directly with the Provider on a "contract" basis and the Provider will deliver direct to the end customer on an agreed basis.
